Guidelines for visitors
We request you to kindly read these fully before booking. Kindly bear in mind that Lonikot is a retreat and not a resort.
- Only groups of families are allowed.
- This is strictly a litter and plastic free zone. Since there is no waste disposable system in the village, all non-degradable items such as polythene, chips / snacks packets, thermocol plates, cups etc cannot be left behind and will have be taken back with you. A trash bag will be provided for this purpose.
- While soft music is permitted, loud music is not allowed as this disturbs the fauna on the farm and also the serene atmosphere which visitors cherish.
- We generally do not allow the place to be used for parties or events so kindly discuss with us before booking for events. Prior permission is required for pre wedding shoots. Please contact manager for this.
- Please note that we do not have any rooms to accommodate drivers and personal helpers for overnight stay. We however have toilet facilities for them and provision to sleep in the open huts.
- There is no room service and all meals must be taken in the dining hall or the picnic huts. Meals inside the rooms are strictly prohibited to avoid insects and rodents coming in.
Please read the kitchen operating timings as given below.
Breakfast - 8.30 am to 10.00 am
Lunch - 1.00 pm to 2.30 pm
Dinner - 8.00 pm to 9.30 pm
Guns of any kind are strictly not allowed.

LONIKOT IS A NON PROFIT ENDEAVOUR TO BRING BACK THE ORIGINAL ECO SYSTEM OF THIS AREA ALONG WITH PROVIDING EMPLOYMENT TO THE VILLAGERS. THEREFORE PLEASE DO NOT ASK FOR ANY CONCESSION. THANK YOU.
